Sunnah of wudu
Wudu
is obligatory or obligatory to attain purity before Ibadat and recitation of
the Qur'an. Purity increases concentration, eliminates laziness, drowsiness and
sleep, more mindfulness in worship with vigor. Thus, for the purity of worship,
it is essential for every Muslim to know the rules of ablution.
Obligation
of ablution is 4
Cooling, rinsing the nose and
rinsing all the face thoroughly including blowing the nose.
Wash both hands including elbows.
Massage the head with wet hands and
ears.
Wash both feet including the ankles.
Remember the time of ablution
You
have to remember more while performing ablution
Maintaining
this order of ablutions. That is, first he should wash his face, then he should
wash his hands, then he should wash his head, then he should wash his feet.
Because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) performed
ablution while maintaining this order.
To preserve the tradition. That is,
to preserve the tradition of washing the mentioned organs; So that after
washing one part, there is no longer break than usual in the middle of washing
the other part. Rather, one limb after another is washed continuously.
There is no difference in the method
of performing ablution for men and women.
Detailed
discussion on ablution
1. First of all, in order to attain
holiness, one must take intention in one's heart. You don't have to read any
prayers for this, or you don't have to say anything. Niyat means to desire or
resolve to do something. "I am performing ablution to attain
holiness" - intention can be done only if there is this idea or desire in
the heart It is "obligatory" to intend at the beginning of every
work. (Sahih Bukhari: 1).
It
is bidayat to recite a dua by uttering such a word in order to make niyat, so
it cannot be done.
2.
Then you have to start performing ablution by saying "Bismillah".
(Abu Dawood: 101, Tirmidhi: 25).
The
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Whoever says
Bismillaah before starting ablution does not have ablution. (Tirmidhi: 25, Ibn
Majah: 399. The hadith is Hasan.
Various
hadiths have emphasized on starting ablution by saying Bismillah. For this
reason, some scholars consider it obligatory to say "Bismillah" at
the beginning of ablution. Nowadays most people perform ablution in the
bathroom where it is makrooh to pronounce the name of Allah. Although it is
makrooh to take the name or remembrance of Allah in the bathroom, but since it
is emphasized in the hadith to say Bismillah, it is necessary to start the
ablution by saying Bismillah even if one performs ablution in the bathroom.
3.
The right hand should be washed three times with water up to the wrists of both
hands. At this time the fingers of the hand have to be slashed. (Abu Dawood,
Mishkat: 401, Nasai Mishkat: 405). At that time, if there was a ring in his
hand, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would wash it by shaking it. (Fiqh
Sunnah: 1/81). Note that hands should not be dipped in ablution water until the
wrists are washed. Because, no one knows where his hand was while sleeping. Or,
if there is any impurity in the hand, the water of ablution will also become
impure. Therefore, it is forbidden to wash one's hands in ablution water until
one has washed one's hands up to the wrists.
It
is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: If any one of you wakes up from his
sleep, he should not put his hand in the water until he has washed it three
times. Because none of you know where his hand reached at night. (Nasai)
4.
Rinse the nose with one ajla amount of water in the right hand and half the
water, and clean the nose with the other half of the water and blow the nose
with the left hand. At this time, water should reach all parts of the mouth and
the upper part of the nose by cooling well. Most people rinse their noses first
and then their noses - that's not right.
The
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to rinse his nose with
water with half of his right hand, and he used to clean his nose with the other
half of water, that is, he used to rinse and wash his nose at the same time.
(Abu Dawood: 237, Tirmidhi: 6).
ablution
wash hands
The first duty of ablution is to
wash the whole face
5. Wash the whole face from the base
of the forehead to the lobe of the two ears and below the chin. Bukhari and
Muslim. Men who have thick beards must shave their beards with wet hands. And
those who have light beard or white skin of the face, it is obligatory to reach
the water. And, women or those who do not have a beard will give a handful of
water under the chin, which also includes the mouth, but will not wash the
throat.
ablution
wash hands
The second duty of ablution is to
wash both hands up to the elbows
. First wash the right hand and then
the left hand along with the elbow. It is obligatory to wash from the tip of
the finger to at least the elbow, however, it is better to wash a little more
part with caution.
ablution
wash head
The
third obligation of ablution is to massage the head
. Massaging the head The correct
rule of massaging the head: The most important act of worship after Iman is
"Salat" or prayer. However, due to our personal indifference, the
poorly educated lord and the wrong teachings of the book "Nurani Namaz
Shiksha" how many mistakes exist among us in prayer.
We
discussed the common misconceptions about massaging the head.
The
first thing is to massage the head once, not three times. Allah's Messenger
(peace be upon him) used to wash the limbs of ablution sometimes once,
sometimes twice and sometimes thrice. But, he used to massage his head once.
(See Mishkat, H. 393-394)
Secondly,
it is bidat to massage the neck while massaging the head. Imam An-Nawawi (R)
said, “Hadith is false in this regard and it is not Sunnah to do it is bidat.
(Naylul Awtar 1/173 pages, Majmu Fatwa 1/56, Jadul Mayad 1/18).
The
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) never massaged his neck, so
rubbing his neck is against the way of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah
be upon him) which is undoubtedly abandoned.
The
third mistake: Noorani Namaz Shiksha or Maqsoodul Muminin. There is a saying in
all these books that it is obligatory to massage one-fourth or one-third of the
head. There is no basis for this saying, but the Prophet (peace be upon him)
used to massage all the heads. So it is obligatory to massage all the heads.
The
way the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to massage his head:
He
used to massage the whole head once with wet fingers of both hands from front
to back and from back to front. At the same time he used to massage the inner
part of the ear with wet Shahadat finger and the outer part of the ear with the
thumb. If you have a turban / scarf on your head, you should massage all the
head with wet hands on the turban.
ablution
wash feet
The fourth duty of ablution is to
wash both feet thoroughly
. First the right foot and then the
left foot should be washed well including the ankle. The toes of the left hand
should be rubbed with the toes. At this time, it should be noted that the whole
foot is washed well, the whole part under the git of many feet is not washed
with water. If you do so, you will go to hell, because this is why ablution
does not happen.
If
you wear socks in winter or while performing ablutions, you do not have to take
off your socks and wash your feet, you just have to massage the socks once. And
any skin or cloth sock can be massaged (Tirmidhi).
Rules
for massaging:
Wet
fingers should be pulled from the soles of the feet to the ankles and massaged
once. (Muslim, Mishkat 517). Massage the right foot with the right hand and the
left foot with the left hand.
Being
circumcised after ablution
1. The Prophet (peace and blessings
of Allaah be upon him) used to take a little water at the end of the ablution
and sprinkle water on the clothes around the place of shame. Abu Dawood, Nasai,
Mishkat 361, Saheeh Albani.
Because,
Satan whispers to people that your urine is dripping. Doing this will eliminate
this whispering.
2.
Kalima Shahadat should be recited once after the ablution,
I
bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I do not associate anything
with Him, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger.
Pronunciation:
Ashhadu al-la ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika-lahu wa ash-hadu anna
Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluhu. Meaning: I bear witness that there is no god but
Allah, He is the One, He has no partner and His servants and messengers.
The
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “The eight gates of
Paradise will be opened for the person who performs ablution in full and
recites Kalima Shahadat. He can enter with whatever he wants. "
[Muslim
1/209, Mishkat: 269]
There
are several important issues in ablution
If the place of ablution is dry with
nails, ablution will not take place. (Sahih Tirmidhi: 41). Therefore, it is
necessary to perform ablutions slowly and beautifully with attention. It is not
proper to perform ablution in a hurry with other thoughts in mind, because if
it does not include ablution, then the prayer will not be accepted! So we
should be careful while performing ablution.
1.
The limbs of ablution should be washed once, twice or thrice. It is obligatory
to do it once, it is better to do it three times at most. However, if you have
head massage or foot socks, you have to do foot massage only once. Exaggeration
more than three times - This work has been strongly criticized in Hadith.
(Bukhari and Muslim, Mishkat 395-396.)
2.
Water cannot be wasted. Leaving the tape and performing ablution will waste
water. It is better to perform ablution with water in a mug or a container. And
the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to perform
ablution with one mud or 625 grams of water (about a quarter of a liter)
(Bukhari and Muslim, Mishkat 439.)
3.
It is permissible to wipe the wet parts with a towel at the end of the
ablution. (Ibn Majah 485, 46).
4.
It is permissible to perform the next prayer with one ablution - but the
Prophet (peace be upon him) always performed a new ablution. On the day of the
conquest of Makkah, he once prayed twice with one ablution.
5.
It is permissible to massage on cloth socks. There are saheeh hadeeths for it
in Tirmidhi. Those who say that only leather socks can be massaged are wrong.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his Companions (may
Allaah bless him and grant him peace) used to massage khuf (leather socks) and
socks (cotton or woolen thick socks). (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi,
Mishkat 53-54). If you are staying at Muqeem or at home, you will have to wear
socks once a day for one night (24 hours) for three days and three nights. If
the shoe that covers the ankle is worn and is worn while performing ablution,
then it is permissible to massage it as well. (Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Mishkat 523).
If there is impurity under the shoe, if it is rubbed well on the ground, it
will become pure and the top of the shoe should be massaged. (Abu Dawood,
Mishkat 503).
.
If there is any wound or bandage on the body, you have to massage that part
once with wet hands, you don't have to wash it. (Sahih Fiqh Sunnah 1/161).
.
There is no prohibition in Hadith to say the necessary words at the beginning
of ablution and to greet or take salutation.
.
Each organ has a different dua for washing - these are bidat. These were not
read by the Prophet (peace be upon him), nor by the Companions, nor are there
any statements from the four Imams. (Yadul Mayad 1/6).
9.
Ablution will not be ruined if blood comes out from any part of the body, more
or less. (Bukhari, 29 pages).
10.
If the clothes are changed or the clothes are lifted above the knees, the
ablution will not be broken.
11.
If vomiting occurs, laughing out loud inside or outside the prayer, bathing or
carrying the dead person does not break the ablution.
